I made a plum galette a few weeks ago and I wasn't very impressed with it.... I guess baking it in a fancy saucer was not supposed to be in the plan but.... This recipe of yours on the other hand appears to have all the elements of a winning dish plus sitting pretty too

I'm glad you finally found a mac & cheese recipe you will eat. I remember all to well your dad and Justin insisting on eating the nasty ingrediends in that blue box. I remember making real home made mac & cheese (with real cheese no less) one time and they both turned up their noses at it and insisted I never make it again. I was bummed because I grew up on the good stuff and of course you wouldn't eat any of it...

That looks really yummy Nicole! I didn't like brussel sprouts growing up but I really like them as an adult and what a great twist on what is otherwise a vegetable not appreciated or eaten by many!

Not fussy? I suppose. Yours looks divine (and so a little fussy, but in a really good way--as in, how come I'm not eating it right now?). Gorgeous pictures, too. It's all making me lament the coming fall/winter when plums will morph into golf balls in the supermarket.
